I just registered, what do I do now?
A confirmation email will be sent to you at the email you used to register. Please check your junk/spam/promotion folders, as it may be filtered into there.
Book your hotel room using the booking link provided in your confirmation email.
Closer to the conference, additional information and app download instructions will be sent to you. In the meantime, spread the word about ADDS to your colleagues!
What do I get with a full conference registration?
Conference registration includes access to all conference sessions, Friday and Saturday lunches, Saturday and Sunday breakfasts, the Friday Night Family Social, and the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner. Visit the program to learn more.
How do I know what registration category I fit into?
Physicians include directors and physicians practicing GI or who have an interest in GI, and members of the AMA GI Section.
Associates include health professionals such as nurses and nurse practitioners, dieticians, pharmacists, and researchers. Health care professionals working for an industry partner should register as sponsors per their sponsorship package, unless they are attending independently and solely for the purpose of their individual professional development.
Trainees include medical students, residents, and fellows training in GI.

What is included in my guests' registration?
Your adult guest(s) (18+) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social, the Saturday lunch, and the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner.
Your teen guest(s) (13-17) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social and the Saturday lunch.
Your child guest(s) (3-12) will have access to the Friday Night Family Social, and the Saturday lunch. Babysitting will be provided for children aged 3-12 during the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner.
Infants (2 and under) are free of charge.
Will I get a room at the Fairmont Palliser?
Delegates are responsible for booking their own rooms. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Instruction on how to book your accommodations will be provided in the confirmation email once you complete your registration.
Any hotel booking cancellations are the responsibility of the registrant.
How much does registration cost?

What is the Early Bird registration deadline?
Early bird pricing closes on June 12, 2026 at 11:59pm.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa and Mastercard. E-transfers and e-payment sites like PayPal are not available. Payment must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD). All fees are subject to GST.

I want the discounted ticket price but I'm not an ASG member yet, where do I go?
Visit the ASG website to become a member.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to the ADDS Conference Secretariat at adds@buksa.com on or before Friday July 31, 2026 in order to receive a refund.
A $100 (plus GST) cancellation fee will apply to Physician registrations.
A $25 (plus GST) cancellation fee will apply to Associate and Trainee registrations.
Any cancellations made after Friday July 31, 2026 will not be refunded. No refunds will be issued for dinner tickets at any time.
How much is parking at the Fairmont Palliser?
VALET PARKING
Valet Parking is available at the hotel's main entrance on 9th Avenue. Rates are also extended to dining and meeting patrons of the hotel.
Valet Parking area can accommodate vehicles up to 2.4 meters or 8 feet.
Valet Rates:
- Overnight: $65 + GST
- Short-Term (up to 4 hours): $35 + GST
- Long-Term (more than 4 hours): $65 + GST
- *Above rates are subject to change.
SELF-PARKING
Impark Lot with access off of 10th Avenue West or East or off of 9th Avenue (East of hotel). Take elevators to third floor and walk West to hotel mezzanine entrance.
- Hourly: $8.00 + GST
- Daily: $16.00 + GST Early Bird (enter before 9:00 am and leave before 6pm)
- Evening/Weekend: $8.00 + GST
- The parkade can accommodate vehicles up to 1.93 meters or 6 feet 4 inches

Is the conference accredited?
ADDS 2026 will be an accredited program; accreditation is currently underway and credit hours will be announced at a later date. Please keep in mind industry symposia are not part of the conference programming and are not accredited. You will be asked to complete a conference evaluation at the end of the conference, which will need to be completed in order to receive your Certificate of Attendance.
I'm a GI fellow. What's in it for me?
In addition to getting a discounted ticket price and being able to network with the Alberta GI community, you will have access to an exclusive Fellow’s Social on Friday evening, and Fellow’s Program on Sunday afternoon.

I'm a GI nurse. What's in it for me?
In addition to getting a discounted ticket price and being able to network with the Alberta GI community, you will have access to an exclusive Nurse’s Social on Friday evening, and a Nurse’s Program on Saturday afternoon.

What is the Friday Night Family Social?
The Friday Night Family Social is an event with food and activities for conference attendees and guests of all ages. Keep an eye on future e-blasts for more information about this event!
What is the Saturday ASG Awards Dinner?
The Saturday ASG Awards Dinner is a formal gala that includes a plated meal, the Saturday Keynote presentation, and presentation of the 2026 ASG Awards. There will be a networking cocktail reception prior to the dinner.
This event is for adults only. Childcare will be provided for parents, at no additional cost. More information on childcare will be shared closer to the date.
How does babysitting work at ADDS?
Babysitting services will be provided during the Friday Night Family Social and Saturday ASG Awards Dinner. Babysitting is only available for children 3 months and older.

If you require babysitting for any guests, please indicate this during registration. Parents will be asked to complete a form and waiver for any children requiring babysitting, prior to arriving onsite. More information on location/drop-off will be available closer to the conference date.
Are international attendees permitted?
International attendees must have a letter of support from an Alberta GI physician in order to attend. Any unaccepted international registrations will be fully cancelled and refunded.
