Dr. Karen I. Kroeker is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta. She completed her BSc and MD degrees at the University of Calgary. She completed her gastroenterology residency and an Advanced Clinical & Research Fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) at the University of Alberta. She has a Masters of Experimental Medicine. Her research interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinical outcomes, pediatric transition, and mental health. She is the Clinical Site Lead at the University of Alberta Hospital. Dr. Kroeker is the Director of Wellness for the University of Alberta Department of Medicine.
