Speaker Bio
After completing a BSc and MSc in Physiology at the University of Alberta, I pursued medical school there as well before entering into internal medicine residency and later gastroenterology. I then completed a Therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto before returning to Edmonton as faculty at the University of Alberta Hospital in 2012. I am currently an Associate Clinical Profession at the U of A and am the medical Co-lead of the SCOPE program, Edmonton's colon cancer screening program.
