Dr. Iannuzzi completed his Medical School at the University of Alberta and the rest of his training in Internal Medicine, core Gastroenterology, and luminal therapeutic endoscopy through the University of Calgary. He has an interest in Hereditary Polyposis Syndromes and Clinical Genomics with period of study at the Mayo Clinic (Arizona) at the end of his therapeutic training. His research interests include high-risk cancer screening, the organized management of patients with Lynch Syndrome, as well as implementation / quality improvement. He is the clinical lead for the Hereditary Polyposis Program and the genetics lead at Calgary's Colon Cancer Screening Center.
