Dr. St-Pierre is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology at the University of Calgary. She obtained her PhD in immune cell signaling at the University of Alberta, followed by her MD, Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Calgary. She subsequently completed an advanced IBD fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. St-Pierre's research primarily investigates the role of visceral and mesenteric adipose tissue, with a specific focus on adipokines and their impact on inflammation, disease progression, and treatment response in IBD. Her research integrates clinical, imaging, and biomarker-based approaches to improve patient care and outcomes.
