Dr. Clarence Wong is a Professor, Director and Section Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Alberta. He is a therapeutic endoscopist and an attending staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and Royal Alexandra Hospital. He was the medical director of the Alberta Colorectal Cancer Screening program and is currently the co-chair of the Provincial Endoscopic Operations Committee and Provincial Medical Lead for the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Centralized Access and Triage (GI-CAT) Program. Dr. Wong is a Past-President of the ASG. Dr. Wong has received numerous awards for excellence in medical education and service to the profession.
